I was waiting to update my build once I had some free time. Lol. Been crazy busy past couple days. She's thrilled about her place in this thread :P
Shiiiiit!!!! I didn't know it was yours! Lol
I just saw it and thought it looked great and that you were wanting wheels that were similiar. Haha. I didn't realize it was your car.

If I would have seen the headlights I would have put 2 and 2 together. Now that I look closely I recognize the front lip and tinted taillights.....seems so obvious that it was your car now. Lol. :pat:

Hahahaha. All good man. Only have the two shots of it right now. Updated in my build thread now too. They definitely don't look bad for 17s! Can't wait to see how they look once I go lower. hopefully they won't look too small so i dont regret not going with 18's hahaha

I had a couple pics from the front but the lip was dirty and it didn't look good. Will have to get one once it's clean and sunny to show off the cf look ;)

Out of curiosity, did you see the pic off the fbook page 9th gen civics or whatever it's called

Are you kidding? That looks fantastic man! 18 looks over sized for this car IMO.
So sharp and clean. :bowdownsit:Beautiful. I can only imagine that those wheels look even better in person. I'm sure a camera can't truly capture the look of them.

After the drop it's going to look killer. How low are you planning on going?
I'm guessing that you don't want any legal complications so are not going to tint the front windows. ? Would look awesome. I remember how the cops can be in Alberta though. (Too many and too by the book!)

Some 18's look really good, but only if lowered. Otherwise they look like monster truck wheels hahaha.

Thanks man. They look pretty darn good in person. The blue on the rims has a similar effect as the DBP paint and changes with the lighting. Not quite DBP on the rims, a little brighter blue I think but still looks good. Would love to see how it looks rolling!

I was thinking about front tint cuz it can be so bright sometimes. Maybe a very light tint to get rid of the glare but not dark enough to raise attention. Still undecided though. Where I am now I would be fine with some tint probably but I might have a job in Edmonton in the next little while so that could be riskier.

As for drop, I'm not 100% sure. Minimum 1.5" to maybe 2.5" depending how it looks and handles on the roads here. Gunna tinker with it for a bit. Definitely not going low enough to require ridiculous looking camber. Even if I was I would never camber like that. Looks absolutely horrific imo. Some slight camber could look alright but not practical here

50% is exactly what I was thinking. Did you do it yourself? Is it legal in QC? I Tinted my own windows in my last car 35% up front with 5% in the back. Turned out alright except for the tickets I got a few times lol
I had a glass place do it. I would NEVER do tint. There are so many botched tint jobs out there done by do it yourselfers. Bubbles everywhere!

In Quebec, front can only be 70% ......legally. No officer would ticket 50% though. Quebec is quite an amazing place for relaxed rules. Even 20 % front is not necessarily going to get you a ticket solely for that. If someone got pulled over for reckless driving, speeding etc. the cops would probably add another ticket for illegal tint at that time if you had 20%. This is cool, but what I really like about driving here is going through a 100 km/hr radar trap at 120 and not getting pulled over......

Here ppl go 130 in a 110 (QE2 highway from Edmonton to Calgary) and it's not too much of a problem. 130+ is a for sure ticket though.

If you tint the window properly with a squeegee and hair dryer it shouldnt bubble. I never had problems when I did my previous cars. Then again I know what you mean. Some of those self tint jobs look terrible
