My OBD1 IAT sensor backed out on my intercooler pipe. I was only using the sensor to block to hole. I might order the Skunk2 IAT block off since I was not using the sensor anyway.

I just cut a piece of steel out and sealed it with rtv for my b when it was boosted like a dumbass. I also did that for my iacv and I should have just ran the sensor instead of cheaping out. But those block off plates are like $15 and u get the aesthetic value so why not.

off topic thought and I know it’s not related. My muffler guy said not running an iacv can contribute to premature catalytic converter failure. Not sure if that’s even remotely true but it has always stuck with me since I didn’t run one and ran through a couple cats pretty fast.

Speaking of E85... I was thinking about going that route in the STi but I don't drive it often. It sits during the winter and I guess I could run the E85 low and then fill up with 93 but I don't know..

Yesterday we set a heat record by 7 degrees and today is supposed to be another sweltering day. I wanted to do some cleaning to my engine bay since I had some down time today but with this heat I don't want to leave the shower.

I remember way back when they used to have those cheap “super chargers” on eBay for like $10 and they were basically duct connectors with fans in them. I got one for the first civic I ever owned and thought I was so badass lol. I wish I could punch younger me in the face haha.

I miss my 89 CRX SI, I had the SIR taillights and the Mugen CF48. I swapped in a B18C1 that made it such a fun. Maybe I can find some old pics and videos at my dads.

With out a doubt those CRX's with a good K series or a good B series build all motor would destroy my SI boosted. It makes me want to get a 5th gen hatch and build next.
