Hello everyone! I’ve been gone for a while. I have some changes coming for the Audi

getting rid of the bags (ordered coilovers last week, currently being built)

Im getting rid of the 235/40 for some 245/40’s

possibly adding more carbon fiber

ohhh and I ordered a new 3” exhaust which will be here tomorrow

possibly getting a “big turbo” by the end of the year and getting rid of the recently upgraded is38 turbo

I also want a custom tune, so I might pick up a cobb accessport

that WAS the idea BUT I decided to keep the IS38 for now, im still going to do the coilovers, wheels, tires and more carbon fiber. I ran into an evo 9 today and it reminded me how bad I want one. So the plan is the Audi as a daily and then build an Evo.

Exhaust came in today!

Well im ditching the closed box carbon fiber intake. I follow a guy with a 500hp+ golf alltrack and he made a custom 3.5” intake for his car plus 10 more, I was lucky enough to pick one up. It should be here next week. I’m starting to have a car part collection in the garage again lol

Ding ding ding, this intake is stupid loud.

so the wheels are getting powdercoated next Wednesday. I really need to figure out this tire thing, stick with 235/40/18 or 245/40/18.

@stilletto you think I would clear 245/40? I want a good drop once the coilovers come in

I’m honestly not the guy to ask about tire sizes. Never been good with that stuff. Usually just run stock sizing whenever I can.

yeah im the same way, the look im going for is the one on this rs3 which has the same spec wheels but the tires are 245/40 but idk those look like they rub :/

I have a stretch on my current tire 235/40 but yet again their nexen so that’s probably why because when I had the same wheels/specs on my ST I had less of a stretch but I had goodyears then. Im might just stick with the same 235/40 but the same Goodyear tires I had on the ST.
