Maybe it's just me, but in 2014 Civic Si first years really short lol second gear even at low rpm still has all the power.

Haha yeah and I feel so bad about it too, but I Drive a lot for work I have to so the Civic Si will be getting mileage on it that is for sure. I guess I'll start revving it sooner than later maybe baby it a little bit more so though

Unfortunately, I won't be able to garage my new civic Si at all. I'm looking heavily into what my other options are for protection such as xzylion and 3m. Has anyone ever use this products and if so how good are they? I'm not sure if I posted this topic already and if I did please forgive me...

OK thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I've been easily shifting at 3-4,000 rpm and that's it. Not even coming close to 5,300 rpm/VTEC or redline. Lol. I've got about 500 mikes on my engine. I drive 39 miles each way to work.
