    DIY 2012 Civic Sliding Armrest

I just ordered the rear console panel from a 2013 Sedan Si. I'll install it and post pictures for everyone to see right here in this thread. The color code for the 2013 Si is the same, so I'm hoping it will be a perfect color match and will resolve any rub issue. If so, I'll update this DIY to...

    2013 Rearview Camera - A First Look

Dallas Bray, do you know what B and J connect to? I thought it might be the B and J connectors on the navigation unit, but your other photo indicates that the camera connects to the B and F connectors. All the pin numbers and colors line up correctly with B and F so I'm just assuming it's an...

    DIY 2012 Civic Sliding Armrest

Looks like the panel is around $8-12. Might be worth it to just order it from your local dealership if you aren't already ordering other parts.

There's only two ways to find out at the moment, and I can't afford another car.

    DIY 2012 Civic Sliding Armrest

Not really. I don't see any visible sign of rubbing, just the tactile feedback I feel when opening it. But Paul is referring to the rear console panel shown in the very first photo. Apparently replacing that panel with a 2013 version solves the problem.

    DIY 2012 Civic Sliding Armrest

This is true...there seems to be a slight rub when opening it, so I'm going to eventually order the rear console panel from the 2013 to see if it color-matches the 2012 Si.

JasonAndre's 2012 PMM Civic Si Sedan

I should hope so. I sold it below the average price and the car had an alarm, remote start, and GPS tracking. He got a steal.

JasonAndre's 2012 PMM Civic Si Sedan

I drove the 2006 Si much more for sure. I had the car for two years and nine months, sold it with less than 19000 miles on it. So about 7125 miles per year.

DIY 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid mirrors on a non Hybrid Civic (4dr only)

Sure, you could just splice wires together and just toss out the harnesses, but I'm guessing most people like myself would rather avoid cutting into any of the existing wires if at all possible. Generally, I like to retain the option to restore back to factory should it be needed since the new...

Navigation Software Update - Now Available!

There's no requirement to upgrade the maps yearly. With my last car, I upgraded every other year and still didn't actually get any use out of the updates. If your area is constantly under new road construction or you simply travel a lot, you'll find more value in it. I wouldn't have bought my...

JasonAndre's 2012 PMM Civic Si Sedan

This. Actually, I live in the city and barely ever need to drive it. My office is literally across the street and I walk to work most of the time. I fill up the tank maybe once every other month. And like every other toy I own, I baby the hell out of it and want it to stay mint as long as...
