You should have driven the 8th gen when they were first released. You would have loooved the rev hang. And by that, I mean hate.

I recognize that the rev does hang that long, I'm just referring to perception. It doesn't bother me one bit, so I don't perceive it to be a problem for me.

I honestly don't know. I imagine that it won't hold weight properly and could potential warp or strip the metal from your trunk. I'd recommend just renting out the tool to be on the safe side. If you don't want to rent the tool, then your only other option is to have a Honda dealership install...
