definitely explains the devastating shortage in dealer inventories across the U.S.
i started here @ HQ Honda on 3/21/11 w/ 132 Hondas on-ground in inventory. today, 4/25/11, i sit here with barely 72 units in-stock, only 11 in-transit, and a mere 47 units on-order across the model lineup...
:word:
bye bye Evo -- and possibly eventually Mitsu as a whole here in the states.
guess that means the Evo VIII, IX, and X may hold their value a lil better over the course of the next few years if that fact is true.
ever since i got to drive "ASHRAF"'s Lightning Red '08 STi at The Dragon...
i miss the HSV-010 -- loved that video of it lapping the Suzuka or Twin Ring Motegi track awhile back on YouTube. looks and sounds SO legit.
wish Honda would come back into the world of F1. i cannot stand watching IRL w/ those paltry sounding motors. i <3 Honda but i hate the fact that every...
unfortunately, i have seen them ALL in theaters at one point or another.
(and rather embrassingly, i own all of them except the more recent "Fast & Furious" on DVD)
my buddy Nick is having a bday celebration w/ dinner and a movie this Friday. his bday is Thursday. so, guess which movie he...
gotcha. yeah i'm way too lazy to handle that sort of business these days. i still have Ronnie's Halloween 2009(?) costume picture on my 8th avatarrrrrrrrr as i recall. i fail teh internetz :pat:
true story. good point! i do recall that CHH podcast way back in the day. that's how we came to find out the Mugen GP wheels weighed in at an impressive lightweight 16.5 lbs apiece in 18" x 7.5" trim. :drooling:
one of a few reasons why i ended up picking up a wheel kit from them mid-to-late...
yeah it's a shame that you got BLATANT mis-information from that dealership. not a good way to conduct business at all. there is a little thing called word-of-mouth and now that you've posted this topic, i'm sure word will spread.
hopefully for them, they will turn things around and get better...
i eat whatever my sister prepares for me and my family 4-to-5 nights out of the week. it's how she earns her keep living at home; until she and her husband find jobs and move back out of state.
we could have been the first to tell you there are no 2012 Si's out there yet.... i work for Headquarter Honda here in Clermont, FL and while i'm not actually a sales person (thank God!!!), i am quite knowledgeable regarding the new 9thGen Civic release schedule.
Civic 4DR - April 20th
Civic...
bad news (well, good news for HQ Honda), we ALREADY sold our first '12 Civic. and it was the EX-L NAVI sedan. i didn't even get to see it. t'was delivered late Friday afternoon and i guess PDI'd on Saturday... :(
i was unable to get a video clip of the NAVI unit and the i-MID as a result. it...
agreed... too large. WAAAY too large!! don't like the plain-ish wheels either to be perfectly honest. LOVE the dual-tip center exhaust though.
that's one of 12 CR-Zs that were brought out to Vegas' SEMA 2010 show last year. some nice, some rice, and some were just like WTF??!!
IMO, those new HFP wheels look helllllllla st00pid heavy. no?
not a fan of the look. too busy for my taste. but hey, we all know they will sell b/c of the name. and CHH marketing them.
