nope, she made completely different ones, and handouts that she wrote up. I still have all 3 of her classes notes in binders on my shelf, when i was still doing thermodynamics they were more useful than the text books
i definitely understand that, ive never had a professor use publisher slides for a class.
The one time i had a class with the prof who wrote the book, she used the book for problem sets and made her own notes for every lecture
about 3 years ago i convinced my dad to stop using kodachrome slides to teach his anatomy and physiology classes, i helped him digitize his carousels and now he uses power point pretty much as a slide show. Every now and then i get a call when he realizes he can embed videos or add text. Its...
Im trying to avoid teaching, mostly because nothing has bugged me more than professors who clearly have no industry experience to back up their material. So i want to get more experience in the real world before i try to tell a classroom i know what im talking about when i say this is how you...
i never encountered any issues with the lr3 to lr4 transition, it all seemed to just work
i lost interest in capture one when they hit v4, the price was insane and they killed off all of the keyboard shortcuts
Ive never really noticed any responsiveness issues on 4
i used to use capture one v3, the one thing i loved about it were all the keyboard shortcuts and ability to process out batch files, very helpful after shooting a hockey game
Ive been using lightroom since version 2, its a great program, i have 4 now, dont know if ill get 5 since i got 4 this summer. Buts its a very powerful raw processing utility and pretty easy to use
ive been pretty exclusively using the download versions, so it just means i dont have a physical...
since you do have a hot shoe on your camera you could go the strobist method (http://strobist.blogspot.com/2006/03/lighting-101.html) put a cheap radio transmitter on your camera, and get two inexpensive basic battery powered flashes. Set the camera on a timer on a tripod and you and your buddy...
i guess thats just a nikon thing then, i can put a plastic shoe in any of my canon camera hotshoes with no contacts and the on camera flash still wont try to pop up cause of that leaf switch
i didnt mention the fact that he had a cold shoe mounting pc-hotshoe cause others already did, i was...
you might need to go into a menu setting and turn the flash off, or if your camera is set to green auto, set it to P instead, this eliminates the cameras ability to run the on camera flash whenever it feels like it. I dont know if the "no flash" mode will also prevent a hotshoe flash from...
the single contact is the only one you really need to trigger a flash since it has the "pop" signal on it. the other contacts are for the camera to talk to the flash and adjust it for you. Im surprised the on camera flash still wants to pop up with it in place, all of the Canons i have used...
i never thought of myself as much of a porsche purist, till i started noticing the modern ones on the road, the engine notes on the water cooled ones just arent the same and dont sound right to my ear after this car.
