TOV says the 6mt doesnt get vcm, which also explains the drop in economy. Not sure why honda would do it, its not that hard to set up VCM like r18 vtec and have it only engage under specific low load situations

My moms really liking the new v6 6mt coupe in the red, would be fun if i could convince her to buy one and ill take her 06 v6 6mt sedan. It looks like they didnt put VCM on the 6mt v6 though and she wants better economy without giving up power
none that will definitely work, the key i have is actually a OEM Acura RDX key that took a lot of custom work to get electronically functional, its possible that a swap like that with a 9th gen may be possible and easier but i dont know.
I believe people have had better luck with keys like...
most of the ebay ones have you transfer the electronics from your stock key, you may have to also relocate the immobilizer transponder so that you can start your car without issue
it depends on the key and the dealership/locksmith. A lot of the ebay keys dont have the tightest manufacturing tolerances for the key blank, so while the dealer might be able to cut it the key ends up being too thick to fit in the locks on your car.
Honda dealers have the machines to cut...
I might add a gopro to the collection between now and then
when i left MD yesterday morning i fully intended to use my apartment as a quick rest stop and go on, but as stressful as the drive was getting just to my apartment i had to abandon that idea
8thgen hfp dampers are firmer than stock, in addition to the firmer springs.
if you put significantly stronger springs on without increasing the damping rate you can end up with a bouncy ride. The hfp kit lowers the car slightly, increases the spring rate and increases the damper rate...
