Pretty much all parts are off the car. Only thing left is the LED bulbs in the fogs(can't find the stock bulbs), the retros, tail light tint and the Red H's.

He said I could leave them a check just to hold but would need proof of the bank check. Also said if I was not comfortable with that we could just wait. Seems like a nice guy so far.....don't think they are trying to pull anything over me. Might have then run my credit and see what they could...

Time is becoming a factor now.....This dude gets out of work at 4pm and who know where he is in ATL in relation to the dealership and the dealership closes at 7pm(stupid!!!!!!) and my sales dude is leaving at 5pm but "can stay a bit longer". Going to beg my sister in law and see where that gets...

Some guy in FitFreak replied but wants to do the swap on Sunday in Atlanta. Not sure I'll have time on Sunday. Asked if he can do it on Saturday, maybe super early on Sunday.

Don't know any a Fit folks in town.....threw a thread up on FitFreak, we shal see in anyone bites. Going to try to talk to my sister in law again since I just talked to my brother today. I'm sure I can have a new set for her car next week.

Well, it turns out my sister in law will be trading her Fit in soon so I will have to trade in the fit with the retros. :( I had to cut a bit of the back of the headlight to get the projector to fit correctly so I can't just pull the projector out and go back to stock.

DO you think the Chevy Dealership will notice if I put the chrome headlights from an 09-12 Fit rather than the black and chrome headlight for the 13-14 Fit??? lol

The dealership that has the Si wants to give me $13k for the Fit, sight unseen! :woot: Time to remove parts off the car! lol Waiting on a, hopefully, final summary of all the numbers but pretty much looks like I will be in a "new to me" car this weekend!

So last time I looked to sell the Fit to carmax or a dealership it was 2014 (6 weeks ag, lol) and was going to get $13k, now they all want to give me $12k.......Boooooo!

Hmmmz...talking to the guy at Carmax and he is saying that in NC the car tax is only 3%. 7.25% is reg sales tax, not car tax. Guess I'll tell that ATL dealership I just buy the car and deal with everything else on my own. Time to do more research.....lol

7.25% for my tax rate. They hit me at $21,650 for a "drive out" price. I countered to a $21,000.00 OTD....taxes, dealer fees included. Just checked my email and they said that $21,650 is the best they can do. So it breaks down to $19,500 for the car, $1,413.75 in taxes and $736 in dealer fees.
