Driving a manual car and transitioning from auto

Posted in other thread so won't go into too much detail, but was rear ended today in my 8th gen.

I had actually went to the dealer on tuesday after posting this thread and could've potentially had my 2013 when this happened.

Another worry about new cars.

Very minor damage to bumper but still can't say this doesn't have me kind of second guessing getting a new car...

As much as no one wants to be involved in an accident, specialty with a new car, we can't live in a bubble. Sorry you got hit, really sucks.
