Car was a real find, single owner in vero beach local. He bought it for his 50th and 10 years later isn't using it anymore. I stole it for $24k. Then I broke the bank open and spent waaaaaaayy too much on parts. :shadyhat:

I saw another vid of this run where it shows track speed, and it appears he never exceeds 120 mph. The 2-eleven has a top speed of 150 mph, so I wonder why he didn't go faster.

Mike is not the owner of the car, so the owner may have requested that. Mike is a pro driver..I just didn't want to overwhelm anybody trying to look at the VIR track by throwin out some stupidly fast car/driver combo, like this....

found the video of data.. he's over 130 going down the back straight.. that sounds about right for taking it easy. Also the data doesn't look super accurate.

Yeah, I've been watching his other videos, and see he is a very capable driver. I just couldn't see why he didn't drive the snot out of the 2-eleven. I subsequently read that it was basically just out of the factory, and not set up at all.

Going to answer for him as I kinda just said what to buy and we went from there lol..

The RE11 is nice if it's a DD/weekend toy but the Z2s are faster. As we both liked the Z1 so much, we kinda agreed that the Z2 was the best way to go for this car.

agreed and I like the responsiveness of the stiffer side wall. Only complaint with the tire is the road noise is far greater than the previous Z1.

lol, I spun off at turn 5 at road atlanta in the prior track toy my 2008 S2000 CR.

I wear a Bell M4 helmet and added a smoked visor for it, fits great no issues. It was easy to mount my hans device to it (after video supplied by jrotax101), comes with pre-drilled holes.

This is a great bang for the buck helmet IMO
