Changes coming up (August):
1) TRD Pro black housing headlights
2) Rubber bed mat (tired of **** sliding around)
3) New leather shift knob
4) US Off Road bumper and Warn M8000s winch

and eventually because +140 lbs on the nose...and 550 lb/in springs...
5) Likely Old Man Emu 3" with HD front springs and Dakar rear leaf...maybe just a 1.75" inch Bilstein/Eibach front lift...we'll see...

How much were the new headlights? Did you ever consider doing a retro on your stock headlights?

A couple hundy. I probably could disassembly the stock ones and get the same black housing and what not done on the relatively cheap or do the retro. I did think about that...might still come in the future. I'll have to decide what to do with the old lamps - keep 'em and play with 'em or try to sell them and come out neutral in a swap of cash vs. goods.

Gotta get me some new tools tonight, primarily bigger/deeper sockets to get the aluminum bumper off and take out a couple of extenders on the subframe to prep for attaching the new bumper. Oh, and I have to figure out a good way to relocate the pump for the intercooler, which is in the way of where the winch is going to go.

If you come out even then cool.....but spend $300 on the "standard" Mini H1 Retroquick setup from The Retrofit Source, do your own work on the stock lamps and then wonder why you didn't do a retro sooner, lol.

Sell the TRD headlights and try to re-coup that money back once the retro is done.

Chop chop. I remember why you don't wear shorts with your legs in front of you when cutting steel with an angle grinder. My legs be burned from the sparks. :)

One more box to arrive tomorrow that will finish off the deal. I'll be looking to mount the new bumper late tomorrow evening for an initial test fit - winch included.
