Front bumper question

Does anyone knw if the black insert on the front of the 2012 coupes is removable? If anyone has done this or knws about it plz let me knw and I'd like to knw how to it was done thanks

Until we get someone that knows, I'm guessing anything that is different from the piece next to another part is probably detachable.

I think there's a real bumper under that bar, and if you were to take off the cover bar there wouldn't be any room to replace that space without something about the same. (I think)
I can see where it would look better without it though.
