Yes, that's right. A chameleon build.

There is a bit involved on both his growth and coloring, and his cage and upgrading it.

Got some Great Stuff Pond and Stone insulating foam sealant. I used it to make a structure in his "baby cage" I'll soon add plants and other sticks. Probably going to order a mount that'll hold it in the cage better.

Might as well. He's going to grow and his cage will get bigger and entirely change. Not to mention he'll go from these earth tones to bright colors. Lots of changes.

Just finished making my intermediate layer screen. It goes between the bottom of the cage and the 15" square overflow pot below. This way I can keep a flow of water going for him without worry of a mess when I get home. He also can't drown himself and neither can his food.
