Don't wear a seatbelt and tell no one: no one bats an eye. Mention you don't wear a seatbelt on the Internet and everyone loses their minds...

That's like saying if a tree falls in the forest does anyone hear it.
But seriously @xXCiviXx the only reason you're catching so much flack is because as I'm sure you well know not wearing a seatbelt these days is crazy.
The risk is too high to take chances and we would hate for something to happen to you because you thought that "I'm just going slow and I'm not going far". It's not always you that's at fault.

Not to overstate the obvious, but if you don't tell anyone, how do people know you don't wear a seatbelt. Because most of the people here wear seatbelts, you're given the benefit of the doubt that you would also wear it. Consuetudo pro lege servatur.
