Removed and cleaned the Idle Air Control Valve on the Rex today. No more bogging out at stop lights.

Well, August has been a big month for the car, she's been a little spoiled. Started with a Progress 24mm RSB, SPC camber bolts and arms, stainless steel brake lines, painted the calipers and swapped out the pads for EBC redstuff, ATE Typ 200 brake fluid, transmission fluid change and tonight the new track wheels came in. Konig Hypergram's 17x9 front and 17x8 rear. Also got some 3M gloss black vinyl for the roof to install...

Thanks guys! I took the car out for a lapping day Monday with everything on save the wheels. Let's just say they really aren't kidding when they push you to the yellow stuff pads for any type of track duty. This is a picture of the exact same pad at the end of the day, they definitely don't grip nearly as hard now, faded out worse than the stock pads for sure. I guess I'm going to have to compromise more noise and dust on the DD to get the braking I want haha

That 22mm is whats happenin!!!
No kidding! That's my project for today. The day before last I flushed my brake fluid and cleaned up my brakes, and yesterday she got an oil change and I cleaned up the wheels before putting them back on, and changed the air filters.

Damn! Too low for my taste. How does she ride that low?
Not that bad actually, but I think it will just be temporary. I like the way it looks but I was on pins and needles what little bit I've driven it. Just not enough clearance for me to be comfortable.

How low is that? 2.5"?

Not exactly sure, the coils are D2 and they're maxed in the rear, we just tried to match the front with the rear but it can go lower in the front. My exhaust seems to be what's causing most of the issues as far as clearance. It's gonna have to go back up, I can't get in my garage.

I can see how that would be a problem. I'm dropped on truhart springs, 2". Haven't had issues yet, but I love the low.

Well... crazy morning. I was driving to work. Stopped at a red light on left hand lane. Two cars stopped in the right hand lane, then boom. The right side got rear ended and the car in the middle got crushed. The occupant in the car was killed and the driver pushed both cars with such force he side swiped my entire passenger side. I am fine but feel horrible how the other person was killed over some idiot not stopping... so sad. Be safe everyone!

Ah Man. Holy smokes. First off I'm glad u are all right. Always sucks to see someone lose their life due to another's negligence. I just don't know what to say though That looked like an extremely close call for u. Damn.

That is terrible news. Do they know what the driver of the car that caused the accident was doing?

I am not sure what was going on with the driver. It was around 6AM. The police spoke to everyone involved and they soon put handcuffs on the guy and took him away. He didn't look drunk, just tired. I gave the police my dash cam footage and they said I should get it back within a couple weeks.

I am hoping it wasn't due to negligence but considering he was arrested, it sounds like that will be the case. That's really sad for the other family.
