Wow I paid $290 for a cnt downpipe with a high flow cat. Is it more tha twice as good? the CNT is ss except for the end flanges-only one end would rust if yo drive the car in winter. cnt is on and working fine.

It's not the same one :). The previous one was a proper vending machine with a compressor and everything. This one is more of a powered cooler -- it doesn't have a refrigerant-based compressor.

Need to load it up with ice or something?

It has a little metal element that it cools down in the back of the casing while a fan system circulates air throughout it. I think it still has some sort of electrical air-compressing action, just no refrigerant. Because of this, It doesn't get frosty cold, just sorta chilly. I'd say it gets into maybe the high 40s Fahrenheit.
