He said real world numbers are about 200whp 170wtq. But all and all I am very satisfied on how she responds and pulls

so rv6 is the cheapest down pipe i could find, looks like its $439 catted and $76 for shipping. seems high though don't it , that was more then my cat back exhaust shipped, bout to pull the trigger on a hondata but i want to get the down pipe before i tune it

Go with the catless! But that's not a bad price for it. I am looking at picking up the borla exhaust soon! If I was in your shoes I would snag the downpipe then get the hondata. You can find a good used one for a good price. I got mine from another member for a steal

ya my buddie installed a berk catted down-pipe and invidia n1 exhaust on his 8th gen last night, no codes and no tune yet, he says it pulls much better, and the vtec hits like a train now. doesn't the un- catted down-pipes make an awful smell? would save liek 100 dollars though

I don't mind the smell, it's not bad at all, you will get a nice gain from it that's for sure!

Thanks! You can run one, just keep your stock piece and swap it out when you gotta test!

Neither one of those bother me at all, and I hate rasp! Honestly it is not bad at all. I don't even notice the smell either

Maybe a month, but I ran a hondata base tune with the secondary o2 disabled so I wouldn't get a cel.

wont hurt the car though? Ima go catted so i shouldn't see a code i think , might be a month before i can save up for the hondata. should get a little gains after downpipe install then a little more after tune

Won't hurt it even if you go catless, the rv6 does come with a defouler so that should help with not getting a code. There are used unlocked ones for sale, that's what I went with. Got it for way less that way

Yes I felt the gains, but I hardly get on my car. I have only actually got on the car a handful of times, most of those times were on the dyno lol

My buddy did this in his shop with vinyl wrap. It matches so good with the black in the grill and rear diffuser trim piece. Absolutely love it, now I need some jdm emblems!
