It's why I took my exhaust off, and for the fact that it was ridiculously loud at 8k RPMs. Only way I can tolerate that noise is if it was actually fast.

Yall actually have places you can have fun and not constant D-Bag cops harassing you.

Cops around me only harras the beater hondas and toyotas and subarus. Most of the newer model cars don't get bothered. I had an exhaust on for 2 years and never got pulled over for that.

Nice! Hey question. Do you have to get a tune after putting an intake on a wrx/sti?

Yep! Only reason I know is due to my recent mass investigation of subies. Gotta get a tune whenever you do anything to the motor from what I can tell. And that is recommended on any car.

Ninja Edit: Granted you can just go with a basemap from like AP or FP, but datalogging is recommended.

If i ever get a subie i think my first mod would be the ap. then do other stuff.

Mine was:

SPT Intake (bought it a few weeks before I bought the Subie) - Pre May 8, 2007
Cobb Accessport - Mid/Late 2007
SPT Catback - Mid/Late 2007
'04 BBS Wheels - Early/Mid 2008

and I don't remember the rest :giggle:
