Hey guys i'm just new here to the forum, and i'm planning to lower my car with D2 springs.. i'm concerned what mods i have to do if ever i install it.. i have a 18x8.5+30 or35 i think then 225-40-18 on tires..

Might get these they are 18's 9.5 wide.. 30 offset.. How bad you guys think fender work will be .. My car is on pro springs..
Any help would be great.. I really dont want to do fender work but i will if its minor..help!!!!!!

Iv got a noob question 235/40/18 on the front and 215/40/18 on the back? stock 14 si rims on stock hight would that be ok to run? I'm looking to go f/I over the winter and will be needing some better rubber

would i rub with a 17X8.5 +48 with 215x45r17s ? I'm a little worried how high the offset is. also would have have around a 2-2.5 drop, its on a coupe

ohhh yes sorry 18x8 +35 is the safest you can run with no camber/ no roll

and pretty much as close as you can get to flush without camber

Hey man I want to get some XXR 531 17x8 but I dont know what offset to choose? I want a little more camber that stock but I want to be flush. I'm going for that look on the black fb6 on Varrstoen es7 page.

I would suggest the +35 over the +25 just for ease of fitment. You could probably get away with the +25 but it will depend on low/tire size/camber settings/fender work.

With the +35 I think you could run either the stock size tire or even bump up to the 225 width for some extra contact patch without too much trouble.

Well I plan on using my stock tire I guess I should of mentioned that lol I wanted to get the actual Varrstoen es7's but they only have 17x9 and that's too much stretch for a 215 tire isn't it? And as far as how low probably like 2.5" lower just a small tire tuck.

Well, stretch tires are totally a personal choice. I wouldn't run less than a 225 on a 9" wheel but some people will stretch a 205 on there. I feel it unsafe but I leave that decision up to the end user. I only recommend the +35 for ease of fitment. You can probably get away with less camber on the +35 which will save on tire wear.

if you are running stock suspension i can't see any reason you'd rub

I think that's a great tire size. Also 225/40/18 would work as well. It really depends a lot on the tire you are looking at. You can get better performance out of a better tire in a size narrower width than a wider tire that's not as sticky. Just depends on what you want.

Any particular tires you are looking at? The extreme performance category of tires tends to run almost a full size wider than stated. (dunlop z2, bridgestone re-11a, BFG rival...)
