I've read one year as well in the manual. How much does a service contract like that cost. Depending on the cost vs my driving habits I would have liked that. Alas, my driving habits are much like the OP's.

OP you got ripped off the second you purchased their service contract. But they are right the OEM specs are change oil at 0% or 1 year mark whichever comes first.

you drive so little you may want a refund on that service contract that you purchased and just change the oil on your own once a year.

If I drove that little, I'd consider renting cars, a different one every time I'm home. No payments, their insurance. But that's just me. 260 miles a month?
