Huh? When I had my '13 civic si I got the pilot sport a/s 3's V rated 215/45R17. They were pretty good. Nothing to write home about but handled nicely in the wet and dry, disappointed with the noise and only got about 700 miles out of them before some dickhead 88yo ran a stop sign and pulled...
Haven't seen this mentioned. Do you need to flash your car back to stock when you get an inspection or are they inspection ready if you're running completely stock?
Meguiar's maybe? I always use it, finish waxing or detailing my windows then go back and wipe it off and never had problem with splatter.
Some ding dong at work I recommended it to put 3 coats on his big *** truck tires and they're shiny as hell but splatter everywhere. Recommended he not...
Did you change your tranny fluid yet? And are those Honda wipers? Honda uses valeo wipers. Don't know if amazon or chh is cheaper. I do know one thing. Valeo wipers have been the best ever and won't ever try another brand of wiper.
Both. I was using honda's recommended vinylex for all plastic and trim but 303 protectant is less glossy. If you want gloss do two or three heavy coats or use vinylex, but the 303 is my go to now because of less glare on sunny days.
Be warned, the fabric guard smells. Make sure you can...
Where are all the front grill options? The '12-'13 civic you could disassemble the front si badge. On the '14 si it's a part of the grill and made debadging my car incomplete. Plus part of the honeycomb grill has combs that blocked. I was able to dremel put on '13 for better airflow and...
Yeah. Been playing the hell out of gran turismo since my si has been parked since the 8th due to bent rim. Will be back on the road this Wednesday or Thursday.
Yeah, I think Honda added even more sound dampening to the '14 that the '13. The '12 did t have any but it was easily added and not too expensive. The michelin's on the '13 though were much quieter and have more traction when wet than the Continental's. And I was talking mainly about...
In hindsight, if you paid a reasonable price it's peace of mind at least. For that small an extension I hope you didn't pay too much. I don't buy extended warranties anymore but glad I did when I was a teenager. I had 100k warranty and a/c went out, on my trusty ole '96 civic even, in middle...
Never mind. Dumb question. Started digging around and the new gaskets would give it away.
But has anybody installed a thinner head gasket for better compression? Never see that mentioned in 8th and 9th cicvic forums.
