Well, I bought the PowerBlocks and have been working out six days a week for about two weeks. I cannot say I now look like Arnold but I actually do see a little difference. Most amazing is the fact my COPD has improved to an extend that is nothing short of remarkable. I feel so much better...
I find I must take brakes between each exercise. For example, if I do 3-4 sets of bench presses, I am winded an need to rest a bit. Sometime, I must rest between each set as well. I wish my wind was better, but it is what it is.
I bought a set of Sport 90 PowerBlocks yesterday. My set allows for 50 lbs. per hand but is expandable to 70, 90 or 130 lbs. At the moment, I believe I should take 25 pounds back to the store and ask for a refund. I don't see expansion in my future. Anyway, I started doing some light...
I went to the doctor last week for my quarterly checkup. I know my weight 185 lbs on my 6'2" frame is fine, but the doc pointed out I have no muscle tone. I used to be an avid bodybuilder and once looked good, though I did have a bit of a belly. Now the belly is gone but I have no muscles. What...
Wait a minute. I must have missed something. I thought Obama had killed Osama and terrorism had been defeated. Remember, we now have "Man Caused Disasters", work place violence and other politically correct nonsense.
I'm sorry to be so negative and caustic but this stuff just drives me...
Thank goodness we have Eric Holder and the U.S. Department of Justice who, I'm sure will be all over this case.... investigating to ensure the victim's civil right were not violated and there was no hate crime comitted.
During my years as a young guy on Chicago's South side, I was never attacked on a one-on-one basis. I was always outnumbered by a margin of at least five to one. On two occasions, I was outnumbered AND was with a lady friend or my wife. Those were absolutely terrible situations. The only thing I...
Must have been a slow news day. Mentioning the gun in the glove box seems kind of pointless as in Texas, anyone who can legally own a gun, can carry it, out of sight, in his vehicle.
As for the Smithsonian, what can one say except that those folks are really pathetic. Next thing you know...
No. With the stock retainer in place, the Anvil threads will not even engage the threads on the shift rod. You must remove the part that meets the stock knob, i.e., the part with the nut on it, before the Anvil can be mounted.
I agree. TWM wants almost $20 to ship just the retainer by itself. Amazing. I think, with your help, I just talked myself out of this. Long live the Anvil.
Thanks Dar-Dar. I agree about the cost of the M1. What I like about it though is the fact they also offer that attachment that connects the knob to the boot. A nice finished look.
I went away from the Anvil for a few days and tried the Skunk2 Billet knob. It was okay but was noticeably higher. I'm back to the Anvil again.
I wonder, but don't know, how low the TWM M1 Abrams sits compared to the Anvil. Also wonder if the size of the ball is the same. Does anybody know?
