90 325is and FA5

Still waiting for the maf conversion too. Customs is probably taking the most time. I will do the injectors when the conversion arrives.

Arrived today. Now I can install it while waiting on the seals for the rear end.

While I was inside, the seals for the rear end arrived. I have a very busy day tomorrow. It stinks it is our 15 year anniversary and Jena(wife) has class all day.

I have two vehicle apart right now. I am working on the BMW and the truck. I was hoping to be done with the truck before the parts arrived for the BMW. I had to order another part from Nissan and it should be here tomorrow.

While taking the old injectors out, I dropped one of the clips. I can't find it anywhere, but luckily the BMW specialist in Griffin has a yard. Gotta pic it up tomorrow. The old injectors were so bad. So bad I don't want to post pics and I don't know how the care was running.

Finished the MAF conversion and injector install. The car is running a little too high in rpms. I might need a TPS. The car runs smoother and has much better throttle response.

I also put the 4.10 rear end most of the way together and threw some paint on it. I just have to add the rear cover and fluid.

I fixed the 1500 rpm prob. Cleaned the throttle control valve and adjusted the idle speed. It wasn't closing the throttle all of the way. The car is more responsive, but I don't know if there was a change in power.

Now I need to install the 4.10 and the sub frame bushings.

is this all prep work for the dragon, or you had these items planned to be done regardless?

I had them planned, but just didn't feel up to doing them. I am feeling a little better, but still have bad days.

For those that don't know, I was diagnosed with Leukemia a little over a year ago. I am in remission, but I am still doing maintenance treatment. I have to take three oral chemos. Two all of the time and another for fifteen days every three months. The one year left mark is in May.

Sorry man, I saw some previous posts about oral chemo, but had no idea you had been diagnosed with Leukemia. Have you had a bone marrow transplant, or have you just been going through chemo?

I did not get a bone marrow transplant, since I have APL. I had to do chemo, three times, then arsenic trioxide 5 days a week for 6 weeks. Now I am in the maint phase and it is two years of oral chemo. I will have one year left in May.

On a lighter note.

I know there won't be much gain, but the rusty manifolds had to go. They will at least save some weight and look better.

Bushings, 4.10 rear end, and headers installed. Now I ordered two glass packs to go right after the headers to hopefully keep it the same sound level as before.

That's it and hopefully after the much needed maint it should perform better.

I have been thinking of blacking out my kidneys and after seeing it on that one I will.
