So, i got this 2014 Tourer european version here in sweden that does not have bluetooth and i though that i'de just replace the HU for a nicer one with navigation and whatnot.

Got this HU:

And the harness from connect2 together with the fascia.

Following this i've verified that the harness cables indeed go to the speakers.

I' not actually getting any reading with my multimeter when trying to measure for example pin 15 and 16 to verify that those are the cables that go to the speaker, but i know they do because when i have the originan HU in and measure there they show voltage and make scratchy sounds when i turn my multimeter into measuring ohms.

This in itself tells me that there is something in the way between the car's 24-pin conenctor and the speakers, an amp or something else honda deciced to put there, my dealers tells me that this car does not have an amp but i'm starting to doubt that.

I've looked but i can't seem to find any, does any1 have a picture of a recent factory amp so i know what to look for?

The harness i'm using is a CTSHO005.2, there is also a CTSHO006.2 but the diff between CTSHO005.2 and is that you can use the phone controls that i don't happen to have in my car.

I've measured everything with a multimeter to rule out any loose wires and such things, also measured the output (multimeter and by hotpluging other speakers to the end of the ISO cable) from the radio so i know for a fact that's working like they should. sounds come out with an external speaker "hotplugged"

I've also read something about some active noise reduction thingy going over the canbus/k-line and whatnot that might be causing issues, if that is the case how do i overcome it?

I'm loosing sleep over this, any1 got any ideas? :)

I wish I could be of some help, but I'm not going to be able to give much advice. I believe we only have a few users who've registered from Europe here. Your version of the civic is actually different from what we have in North America. The users who are from Europe don't really post much here. The most active place that may be able to troubleshoot your setup would probably be civinfo.com. I believe most of their userbase is from Europe.

One of the audio guys here may be able to give you some advice for troubleshooting though. Hopefully someone will chime in.

Well that does help, you're giving me another place where i can turn to + you're verifying what i thought, that the euro vs american version are prolly different, i know that the color of the cables for sure are.
So thanks :)
