Helloo!!! New honda guy!

Hey nice car! Ive got an 8th gen LX. It's not fast and it won't be no matter how much you mod it but.... It will get you awesome mileage ( im 34-38ish) and you can mod the handling and suspension a ton. You can have a very fun to drive car. Some light engine mods will net you a bit of power. I wouldn't go the full bolt-on I/H/E FP & tune route but freeing up some of the power with pulleys and intake can help a lot. Car feels quick and is a blast but don't try and race anyone, hahahaha.

They will probably come out with an HFP exhaust soon. Axle back makes it look a lot better and it sounds a little louder without the rice-rasp.

hoping to get rims and drop next, hopefully done by the end of summer?!?!? and possibly hfp lip kit also :D
 
The r18 engine - injen intake is being used from the 2006+ civics

Most SI owners are still waiting for the injen intake. Nothing wrong with your intake....probably surprised by it
