Line output converter

Lol t taps make life easy. But I didn't have any so I cut and spliced and used barrel connectors and wrapped it in tape lol. As far as amp adjustments, I've found that adjusting the gain when the head is on vol 30 (sub setting all the way up) gets the best results, just don't go above 30 if that's where you set ur gain to or you'll clip the signal. I used a -2.5 db 40hz test tone on vol 30 (sub setting maxed) and turned the amp gain up (leave bass boost disabled..permanently) until it started clipping then backed off a little on the gain. That way I know at vol 30 I'm maxed and won't blow another sub lol.
 
Better off swapping head units as far as cost, simplicity, and even quality is concerned. Your only as good as you weakest link. The clean sweep can give you a flat full signal for sure but it still doesn't compare to an aftermarket head.
