Wow well read 14 pages to get caught up, saw the thread over there of the demise of AP, not cool at all. I've been on both sites for awhile, the other longer because I never knew this one existed. I'm more of a people watcher and just chime in time to time and when seeking knowledge for my Si or when I feel like commenting on something. Gotta say up till now the other site had more traffic but this one has a better app and nicer people. Especially Webby, he helped me with a caliper issue on my Si and went above and beyond what most would have done, so with AP here now and knowing how much of a following he had over there and how much knowledge he has, the site may want to be prepared for the flood gates to be open, Welcome AP, sorry to hear you got shafted but you're in great company now :)

Did all four of you guys leave the other site? I know AP did and that Paul resigned as moderator, but you and Skrub too?

I'm here but I haven't left my position as a moderator. I have a lot of real life stuff going on right now and I'm not ready to decide what I want to do about my forum life.

FooBird is here as well but still holds his moderator position.

Bluestar will not be coming over here though he did make an account.

Nothing tragic, no worries. Just heavy work stuff at the moment, my car needs a little time and my girlfriend wants lots of time. :)

Ahhhh, I see. Work usually doesn't get in the way too much. But school and the girlfriend can. But she just thinks I'm weird for being obsessed with car stuff and thats all there is to it in her mind:D

I'm glad you're over here, this sites app is way better than ********* and the notification thing is way cool! People seem really genuine here as well, I mean my caliper issue that I had was minor, it was rusted to hell within months and dealership didn't want to do anything for me, so I turned to both sites for help and Webby went out of his way to call another dealership and get their opinion on the matter with pics I posted and I thought that was really cool. The other site I didn't get much of a response and didn't really know why? But you'll be welcomed with open arms I'm sure with all you do, especially your DIY's

that's why i left the other site. it was full of drama and people always tried to push their opinion on you. if you weren't herra frush your car needed moar low because it was 4x4 status. haha. here, everyone's just been super helpful. yea, this site doesn't have as much traffic as the other site, but I don't have to navigate through a bunch of crap to get to the good stuff either.
