Official Gun Thread

Canada is a country that's not infested with a lot of corrupted white collar criminals, and government. It was mentioned that the USA wasn't a 3 world country, but yet we have 3 world problems unlike Canada, ppl living in poverty, unemployment sky high, interracial problems to the extreme. It's also hard to live homeless in an area such as Canada with the temp's being too low 8 months out of the year for a homeless criminal lifestyle.
Also it never seems to be brought to light by our media that having a gun also prevents government radicals leaders (IE; Hitler, etc.) from repeating history like this over and over.
It seems that as a country moves to better itself, there becomes a cloud that sweeps over the people, and history is forgotten, where anyone watching the US's path of destruction, might want to revisit the history of world dictators.

Canada has homeless and 3rd world conditions, you should to see the following clips from Attawapiskat. This is a fairly hot item in the news, the remote reserve has received millions from the Government, as well as DeBeers who operate the Victor diamond mine nearby. Try 435 million in the period 2006-2012. The reserve has 1828 people according to the latest stats, but they are living in shacks, tents and garages with not enough housing.

Over 80% of the money has no paper trail.... and the band council, manager and chief are doing quite well, she's driving a Cadillac Escalade.

She went to Ottawa to hunger strike to protest how the first nations are being treated, yet they have more given to them then the average person.

There is nothing wrong with having guns, they don't kill people.... people kill people with guns. If the social and economic problems are fixed, and the gap between the rich and poor, the violent crimes will be not as big of an issue.

I believe the Tikka is a floating barrel. I'm not an expert on gun construction though...
If you want to know, just slide a sheet of paper between the forearm and the barrel. It should slide down to where the front of the scope is. The reason for it is to keep the barrel from warping with the forearm.

I know what you mean, that's the same way I feel about ABC,CBS, & NBC......... :D
All news networks have bias, sun has a ton more than others though and it is a bit out of touch with the Canadian reality, at least in my opinion.

Is any one going to their state capitol for the 2nd amendment rally tomorrow? Its gonna be every state.
I have been buying ammo when I have extra money and have a good stock pile here. For the Americans here please show your support. For non US citizens and US Citizens that don't understand take a gander at some of the quotes of one of our forefathers http://jpetrie.myweb.uga.edu/TJ.html
My EDC I carry extra magazines always with Federal hydroshock +p. I have never had to pull it out for my life but I sure would like to have that option if it came down to it. The average time of a LEO saving the day (or showing up) is way too long to put my life and family in their hands.

Used to shoot guns with my brother and stepdad back when I was a teenager... 20 years later I'm recently getting interest in purchasing my 1st firearm. I have been trying to find a high point carbine either .40 or 9mm. Apparently they are pretty difficult to find....also looking at a ISSC scar .22LR or a Smith and Wesson Mp 15-22. Anybody here have any experience with either of these?

I'm not going to the rally, but I did write my two Virginia senators in support of not changing our 2nd amendment.
