Walkie Talkie through car?!

Well title says it all!

We do a lot of long distance drives and i would really like to be able to walkie talkie buddies to alert them of things or chat etc etc.

What do you guys think!?
 
no problem with it. People do it on the dragon meets to stay connected since there is really bad cell coverage.
 
I don't know what you mean by "speech option"?
 
youd probably have to physically wire the walkie talkie into the microphone and sound system of the car to do what you want, theres always cb radio

yeah i changed the way im gonna do it :)

Will just plug a fm transmitter into the walkie talkie and ill use an app i found :D
 
this is stupid expensive but you could probably find something similar for much cheaper: http://www.jkaudio.com/bluedriver.htm. basically something that can convert the audio jack that walkie talkies have for external headset/mic to a bluetooth device then pair it with your car.
