Had to order a new ZII. One of mine had a small chunk taken out of it today. I don't think it would have been enough to cause issues but I cant take the chance. The other tires only have about 5000 miles on them. Should be ok. Putting it on the left front as it'll get worn the quickest.

Yes I know these are in no way street tires, they have two lines longitudinally and that's it...they're pretty much slicks. I'm just doing this for a laugh. Maybe it's a bad idea, but they are coming with me

Love those tires but they don't work when cold. Very slippy. Be careful if you've never driven on them before. They also don't "warn" you like street tires do.
 
My RE11s are getting put on today, then doing the pads & fluid later on. They say that the RE11a is a bit more stable & tolerant to colder temps. Being thag it could be around 45-50F in the mornings come Sept, I think they'll be fine.
 
12 more days until vacation starts. Got approved for 10 full days.

If anyone is looking for a passenger for the first couple of days. I'm more than willing. This being my first trip to the Dragon I want to take things slow.

PSSs are now on, got to go for a little drive this morning.

No they didn't turn my 'stang into sportscar, but they definitely raised the rate of speed that I'll be crashing at if I'm not careful.

I would offer, but I already have one/possibly two passengers.

I'll have an open seat. The Thursday drive is a good way to get acclimated with the closest roads like the skyway and 28 in addition to the dragon.

That sounds good. I'd like to get my feet wet before I jump right in.

9 more days of work then my vacation starts
 
I have a free seat as well but you don't want to ride with me. I drive like a grandma according to everyone on here.

Feet wet? ....you are sitting in a sharks mouth. I think you'll get intimidated riding with Mr.Death.

I remember taking Dave for a ride on the exhaust shoot.. and his sigh after lifting at 125 LOL. Your vid brought back good memories Jason.

With the amount of drives I have planned, there should be plenty more this year. My 2.5RS will probably be at redline in 4th gear just to keep at speed.
