@07TLX and I should have a drag race at one point to determine the slowest car at the meet. The RS is ok at speed but off the line it's geared too short with too low of a redline to really go anywhere quick.
 
Yessir. Not a "race" but a charity event. 200 miles of headwind along the coast of FL. The m3 has been run once since May anyway so wouldn't even be ready to take to the dragon if I could.

Darryl posted a new vid of himself in his S2000 featuring the Garmin Virb which has a G readout, I don't know how accurate it is but I seen 1.4 G on occasion:

I'm glad to see they've made the Pull-Off markings larger. Maybe the organic speed bumps and the tourists will get the hint now.
 
When they do pull over at the lookout they all glare at you like you slapped their sainted mother.

A lot of them are businessmen, doctors, lawyers that dress up for the weekend to look badass. Real 1%ers would never go to the dragon as tourists.

I do remember someone complaining to the Fontana front desk about my 'artwork' on the rear bumper of my WRX. They were bikers.
 
trans fluid and coolant changed. Headlights reconditioned. Productive day so far. Now I just need to keep going, but really feel like a nap.
 
2012 was a fun year, 9th civic meet so far has been better than the last few 8th meets
 
Just got the RE11s to 'sing' a bit going around a corner, still need more miles to run them in normally before they're ready. I'm going on a road trip today (to sell my old tires) and then up to NEPA next weekend so they should be good to go after that.
