Why does the grass outside your place look the worst out of all the yards? lol
It's the in-laws new house they just finished building about 2 weeks ago. Crappy torn up grass comes with the territory.....lol

@FooBird What did you do for transport from the Venice airport to the city? Did you book ahead of time?

We had a driver take us from the airport to our hotel. Was pre-arranged and maybe was 20 minutes. I’m sure you can Uber or have some other transport.

Our hotel was in Mestre near the train station across the water from Venice proper. Probably could’ve stayed in Venice proper, but was a ton more. It was a Best Western, not the best or worst, but had decent beds and breakfast. We’d grab some food at the hotel, and go to the train station to head into Venice. It was a 10-15 minute train ride and cost us €1.50 each for each time we did it.

Was also conveniently located so we could pop onto the train when we went over to Florence.

I couldn't even imagine. Always wonder what it's like to be so rich that you never have to worry about spending money.

2 weeks until we leave for our 16 day Mexico vacation.
My flight cost $1800 cnd for 4 people. Lol.
16 day! Sheesh!

$1300 USD for 4 people.. $325/round trip per person isn't bad.

One day I'd like to sit up front on one of my flights to Asia, but I feel like it won't be any time soon with what I'm making lol

Not worth it. I'd rather use that money towards hotel or food or things to do in the city/places visiting.

Yeah. As much as I hate flying I can't justify spending the cash. But if it was like a 17 hour flight. Might be worth it.
