It came with a sample of two of these and rinse aid.
new dishwashers shouldn't require pre-rinsing i found that these work rather well too...

Mikey, yes. Stuff like dried on oatmeal or nasty stuff stuck to plates would benefit from a slight rinse prior. People who run their washer ever day may differ. I don't run mine but maybe 2 times a week

Well the test dishes just finished. I'm impressed. Dried rice came off....my brothers gross silverware....eh not as good.
