Just think for Ford.....average $60k trucks(which can be on the cheap side :pat: ) times 5 vehicles(swap every 5 years)....that's $300k right there. I would def be swapping earlier than 5 years, lol.
Just make sure they don't blame that on you when you move out and try to not pay back your security deposit.

It's usually NEVER the air filter, unless the filter is used for multiple years.
Are you responsible to change the filter? I can't remember if you rent or bought the place.
$11k is not bad at all for 2 weeks. When we went last year in July, flight alone was $1,800 a person in the peasant seats but picked our own seat, which cost a little extra. The hotel in Tuscany and Amalfi Coast were $350ish a night(6 nights total). Can't remember the cost for the Rome hotel...
You would be amazed at how much the prices go up when you have a travel agent that sets up all the trips, activities, transportation and food/restaurants. Some people don't mind paying for the "you plan it and I'll pay it" approach to travel.
