I went to the main office (traffic was awesome) to pick up/drop some equipment off. Worked on a printer at a different site. Fixing a docking station issue (@ethlar favorite) at another site. Ate lunch. Updated my work ticket/queue.

Depends on what route i go.

Option 1: pop out the dent on the tailgate the best i can, live with any imperfections or have it repaired with my own money. buy aftermarket steel bumper, might be able to get a discount through work on an aftermarket bumper but not sure. this one is on sale right now, probably not for long so i'll have to make a decision soon. https://shop.capit.com/products/bod...LtdqnDX-toReLpMcgyJ3I_fKuasFjUFUaAvOUEALw_wcB
Option 2: buy all stock parts and fix it myself, probably get discount through work but no discount on paint.
Option 3: go through insurance which has 1st accident forgivness and get it all fixed with stock parts. pay deductible. no idea how much that is but it looks like anywhere from $300 to $2500 depending.

Not a good day for Tacomas.

I was pulling back into the garage from taking trash to the dump. I was backing in like normal and got a bit too close to one side. It’s dark and raining and I just misjudged it. I knew it was a bad angle from the get go but I said what the poop….didnt turn out well. Should just buff out. Then a little touch up paint on the house.

Ouch. My Tacoma is unscathed. It’s sitting out there, untouched, getting wet from
the rain.

Looks like Tacoma's did not want to take out the garbage today.

Going to try and pop out the tailgate dent and probably order a steel bumper tomorrow.

Tailgate is worse than I thought. Got 80% of the dent out but there's cracked paint on the edge.
