Sounds like the "system" that Argentina has had for 30 years or so. Private companies have a few cars with drivers and they get called up at the main office and the office dispatches the available drivers that are waiting around or just dropped someone off. They work certain locations out of the city. Basically uber without the app.No. Lol. Friends of ours said they just go across the road and pay in pesos. I think he was legit.
Why come home right when the weekend starts?Just left Santo Domingo airport. On the Delta flight to Atlanta before Baltimore.

Ask my wife's friend and her husband.... We were invited on this trip for her friend's 40th birthday. Guess they had to get back to their kids and work? Only could take off Sunday-Friday. :shrug:Why come home right when the weekend starts?
Yeah. The pay phone and the humpback whale mural is my favourite so far.Pay phone has seen better days. All of the colors are cool
You'd think an airport would have back up power???Glad I wasn't flying home or to the Dominican today...

With a prescription it’s like $3-4 dollars in the states with insurance. It’s been out so long it’s super cheap, but you need a prescription here. Most things go generic in 20 yrs from the patent, but that can sometimes mean 10yrs or so of actual sales at retail (once it’s passed fda testing trials). Those drugs that you see on tv being advertised are usually the drugs that cost a fortune, and a lot of insurance companies will reject their approval. It’s only when a dr fights for the patient saying we’ve tried this list of generics that didn’t work that it can sometimes get approved. My worst case example was a drug that was ~$5500 for a month supply (cash price).amoxicillin over the counter
Still pretty sad that it's not an option to buy over the counter. But I can see it causing problems as well like over use. Apparently the stuff I got is clavulin which is better at fighting drug resistant bacteria according to my doctor friend. With a prescription it’s like $3-4 dollars in the states with insurance. You hit it with overuse. Antibiotic resistant bacteria is the big issue.Still pretty sad that it's not an option to buy over the counter. But I can see it causing problems as well like over use.
