Show me your R18... List your mods/plans if any

Alright, it’s been a couple weeks and i’m back with some updates.

the tune has been a bit finnicky to get right (i’m sure a more experienced tuner could get it super quick) with leaning out a little bit with no load on the engine or getting over 5-6lbs of boost (should be an easy fix once i data log)

got the motor mount fixed, I had to cut the stud down to size and squeeze in a bolt to the gap and tighten it down as much as i could (it’s compressed anyway so i’m not worried about it)

I got a new clutch put in (M-PACT 1 step over stock) and it’s helped a lot with putting the torque down. DIY’ed a heat shield and oil catch can together and took off the front grille to let a bit more airflow in which has lowered IAT’s a lot closer to ambient. Got the header wrapped up real nice too. Hondata read power numbers around 207 on 3rd gear pulls. Lots of low end torque and mid range power which is nice!

Deleted the EGR with a custom block off plate
Added an oil catch can from the crankcase breather back to the intake port (to try and keep oil out of the impeller, in theory)

Deleted the muffler which has given it a bit more character, going to switch out the stock resonator for a glasspack and keep it straight out the back for a bit more noise and pops. I’ll upload a couple videos of the sound for you!

Still having a couple electrical gremlins with the LIN line from the alternator to the PCM and from the ac compressor to the relay. should be getting that fixed up this week! All my voltages are good and the car charges fine, I just get annoyed by the battery light coming on

got the setup for $850 altogether from a guy who’s dad had hoarded them in a barn for 15+ years haha

still no luck finding center caps tho :(
@webby you have any leads on how one could go about finding/creating centre caps for older wheels? ive not found anything online or on marketplace.

I’ve been seeing your posts on this forum since i started this build and you really seem to know all this niche info

I've seen people doing 3d print files of them if you're open to that. Otherwise, it's probably just the luck of the draw finding some on ebay or something.

those ones from cults 3d look like they’d be a perfect fit actually!! I actually ordered and tried those Amazon ones but they were too small a diameter. Got the refund tho.

thanks for finding that! i’d been scouring for a while haha.
