@Scornio - I doubt that small change would be much of an issue and that's definitely not too low... Hondata has info about tuning on their site, but unless you really know what you're doing, I wouldn't mess with much more than simple settings like launch window, speed governor, rev limit, etc...
Oh also, no big deal to change your own launch RPM. Don't mess with the VTEC points unless you really know what you're doing. You can royally mess up your motor if you set it too low.
I ran a base map from vit that we later dynoed at 189HP before doing a full dyno tune with other mods. The base map I was running actually had really good AFR, which isn't so surprising given how many similar cars he has tuned. That was with a FR catless downpipe and exhaust plus PRL CAI...
There's a Hondata base map reflash that may be better than stock, but realistically you are going to want to get it tuned. I had Vitviper do my tuning and am quite pleased. His base map that I ran for a while before I had time for full tuning dynoed at 189HP and was perfectly drivable.
Actually I believe he said the PRL CAI was the only intake he'd personally seen gains with while tuning. I don't know if he's tested the PRL short ram or not. At least that's what I recall, could be wrong.
This one...
The issue that requires a flashpro is related to lightweight flywheels, not specifically to the clutch. It just so happens that some of the popular choices for aftermarket clutch/flywheel combinations include lightweight flywheels. The lightweight flywheel will cause issues with misfire...
As is usual these days, I've been really busy, but I was able to verify that this is definitely some kind of paint issue. I reproduced the issue in a different location...
I can take some more pics for sure, but before I spend too much time on it, do you think it'd be better for me to just...
Thanks @RaskyR1, if it turns out to not be a reflection from something, I'll shoot a few pics from different angles and post back. I actually am planning on polishing the whole car myself anyhow (PC7424XP), but I've never done it before and at the moment I don't have the best place to tackle...
Yeah, it *really* does look like a reflection and that's what I was sure it was, but I got convinced it couldn't be... I'm almost certain now that it is and I think I know where it's coming from, so when I get home tonight I'll back into my spot instead and see if it's still there... And grab...
It is possible I'm wrong about that being some kind of reflection. I think it may be a window on my house since I always park within six inches of the same spot... Unfortunately I just lost the direct sun...
There is an area on the door that is lighter/reflects light differently as you can see in the picture. For a long time I just thought it was a reflection from something, but finally realized it isn't. This is only visible in direct light like pictured, otherwise it looks fine.
Any opinions on...
I know it's a long-dead thread, but maybe it can be revived!
I live in Beaverton and have a black '13 FB6 (sedan). I've been slowly making a few mods... PRL CAI, Full-Race downpipe and cat-back, Buddy Club short shifter with Corsport base bushings, Hybrid Racing shift cable bushings, Hasport...
Personally, I'd worry about what it looks like after you've made it drive better! So start with Flashpro, CAI, exhaust, larger rear sway bar, and you definitely *need* a turbo or supercharger!
I've got one of these and really love the convenience of not having to clamp my phone in:

A few dollars more than your vent mount though...
I've got a full Full-Race setup (downpipe and cat-back) and I found it very difficult to get everything to align "just so". I think I've been under the car about 4 times total to tweak where things are at. I'm not sure how your cat-back portion attaches with the N1, but with Full-Race it has a...
