I had the em1 on for a little over a month now.. I hear you about not being sure about it.. After I installed it I watched a video explaining how it wasn't good to do.. Just one guys point of view though. But it is a little iffy..
Honestly though, I don't feel like it made a huuuge difference...
Yea.. They are easy to install.. Check it out on you tube.. If you have problems down the line, just swap em back to oem before you go to the dealer..
I wouldn't say these (hr bushings) were the best solution to the shifter feel. But I did the cable bushings first then I did the base bushings...
Yea.. I don't think we'll ever get that bite to go away.. I've done cable and base bushings, weighted shift knob, syncros, em1 cmc, Cdv delete, tranny fluid and dot4.. Still there but not as bad.. But i think I'll try this out too.. Thanks.
So. You like them better then the hr bushings? The shifting is one thing that always bothered me about this car.. I want a smooth transition between shifts.. Sometimes I get a little bite.. I might try these out.
Voodoo, what's up!!! How's that clutch set up going?? I have a question for you. You get the light weight fly wheel too?? If so, do you have any noise issues?? I have a vibrating/rattling sound when engaged. I called clutch masters and showed them a video they said you can get some noise because...
I really think it is the cold wheather that's causing the noise now.. We had a couple of warmer days recently and I didn't hear it at all.. There was also a day when it was like 10 degrees and I heard it a little when I was just idling.. I don't know.. Pretty weird
Well... I had the 4th gear in my tranny go in september and got the tranny re biult. I also wound up getting a new sprung clutchmasters 4xoo clutch and flywheel (like stage 4) because i have a turbo.. Only have athousand miles on the clutch right now...i Recently installed the em1 cmc and did...
Sorry for the late reply.. I still have the bulbs maybe I'll try that.. I thought I may need resistors.. Led's don't put as much of a load on the circuit and I was thinking that's why they stay on.. Maybe they use capacitors to make the blinkers flash on and off and led's change the circuit...
Ok.. Got it.. Finally had some time.. So for anyone else who ever has a problem like mine..
-Pumping the clutch rapidly, when the bleeder valve is closed in between draining, definitely worked for me.. I was getting straight fluid when I was bleeding it but no pressure..
- then I took your...
I actually bought a speed bleeder.. So i just pump until i see no bubbles.. But i still have no pressure.. Im gonna try pumping it with the bleeder closed.. And then open the speed bleeder and pump again..
