Also. Been talking to a 3m customer service about some texture on it after it dried. For winter and low temps it may take up to 2-4 days to cure. Less when it is hot. When I did my hood it cured hard in 24 hours but that was in the summer. This time around I let it sit for 24 and went out and...
for the rear bumper 1 can should be enough. i don't do my rear, just the hood, bumper and the side mirrors. the rear bumper is about the size of the front so 1 is plenty.
your process sounds good, not sure if you will get 7 coats on but i would say more than 5 is good and you should get that...
Good. Tip. Every little bit helps. Also take EVERYTHING that is not necessary out of your car. Spare tires. Jack. Anything u haul around. Removing weight that way is free! I wish I could give more driving tips but I have been doing rwd for 4 years and only fwd for 3 events so I am learning myself.
Sorry for the late reply. in short i have sprayed the front 3 times now. the first time i did the hood side mirrors and bumper using 1 can.
the thing is sure you can get enough coverage with that but if you don't get it on THICK, when you peel it off it wont come off as a single sheet and ends...

thanks
I have a specific question on brake pads and stopping distance. I have a 13 civic Si sedan - when i got the car i exchanged the stock tires with RE-11.
I autocross and need to keep the car stock. I always wondered how better brake pads help with stopping distance - when i am autocrossing i...
Ran the last Autocross event of the year last sunday. I felt extra competitive this last event because a bet with a buddy in his new car. ended up PAXing 25/124 and raw time of 52/124. Now i get a free lunch and ended the season with a good note.
Definitely getting used to FWD driving, still...
My son decided to pour his milk down on my back seat so I will be doing a removal and baking soda job soon too. Glad I found this page on how to remove it.
i autox my Si. and like everyone said before. stock under steers, and for stock class you can't do much. If you would like to spend money wisely do rear sway bar and maybe see how your rear toe is set at and try to dial that out to 0 rear toe.
money you should spend:
seat time
rear sway bar...
