I think I figured out my next mod...my buddy just did the mtec shifter spring and stiffer shifter bushings and its amazing how much in changed the feel if the shifter. Surprisingly, it doesn't cost and arm and a leg either..haha
No lift unfortunately, but it's all installed and took about 3 1/2 hours. It's not bad when cruising, but it's definitely not subtle when on the gas...lol
Sorry man! It was a bit last minute for me, I was supposed to work but I ended up not having to so I figured I'd take advantage of it. I just hope it doesn't stay too cold out. I'm not expecting tropical warmth, but above freezing would be nice..lol
I appreciate it anyway...lol. It shouldn't be too bad though, if I do end up doing it ill have access to a giant toolbox and a compressor...so tools aren't a problem. I just need to buy an o2 sensor wrench that I can grind down to fit in that goofy little cup on the downpipe.
I have to work unfortunately...but on a lighter note I am hopefully going to be installing my downpipe and exhaust tomorrow morning. Anyone wanna help? :D
Im curious to hear from people that have had their whole car dipped to see how it holds up. There is a local guy doing matte clear finishes on an entire car for $350, and I have really been considering it. I think it would look good over the SOP paint. If I do end up doing it I will...
Ill hopefully have my exhaust installed next Saturday...just waiting for it to ship! Im definitely down for the next meet as long as im not working (whenever it ends up being.)
I thought I had posted in here, but apparently not. They are the same pictures I posted in me welcome/intro thread, but I havnt had the camera out much thanks to winter and the coating of salt that is usually on the car.
It all boils down to personal opinion..Ive run catless on many of my cars and never been bothered by it. My buddies 8th gen is catless and the smell doesn't bother me. Maybe its because im used to being on motorcycles that dont run cats...
