Hey it’s good info to know when you’re putting your life on the line under a vehicle.
 
how did the one with the small base do? always wondered about those things.
 
I once had a scissor jack fail on me. Was doing a brake job and the rotor/hub asm landed on my left foot. Was able to rock the car off of me and had to cut my shoe off. Ended up with nerve damage on the top of my foot. Still can’t feel a bit all these years later. Fun stuff.

old mechanic i worked with in edmonton died from a failed jack stand, car crushed him. scary stuff.
