Hello everybody,

I have a parking dilema at the moment. The only places I have to park at my new home are in the back alley in our driveway or in front of my house curbside on a non busy street with large lane. Where is the best place for me to park at in a not the worst but not the best kind-a neighborhood? Do the 2012 Civic's have good security systems in place from break-ins? Thanks any tid bits will help :itsme:

I would suggest parking in the back and installing a bright light high over the car(but not so it will bother the other houses near it)........ I don't know if all the civic models have an alarm system, the one that came with mine does, and enough to awaken me.
The sreet is open for anyone to come by drunk or whatever and you could be victom of wrong place wrong time.
I've lived in large cities with no garage with cars and mc's, parking is an art.

they have an immobilizer. Meaning the car can't be started without the master key

I say driveway but always have another car behind it reeeeeeeeally close to it and wat monk said is really good too ...
Id say put a fuel pump cut off too just in case .
I moved to the burbs just so i can have a garage lol i wired a car alarm to my garage so if dat door goes up for any reason it will be heard 3 blocks away lol plus i have a remote sensor cam which might work for u dat when it sences anything in its veiw it will alert ur phone and u can see watnur cam sees on ur smart phone even if ur not home

Or just do the dynamite to the gas tank trick lol !!
When the imobilizer kicks in BOOOM !!!!
If u cant have ur car NO1 WILL BROTHA LOL

I guess apart fron my car being stolen which webby pretty much clarified that one up that it wont be, Im worried about my subwoofer system which is in my trunk. Any security methods I should take precaution with? Like removing trunk fuse or etc?

This ones easy...... Don't play it within the area that you live or work................ PAAF

and don't advertise audio product stickers on your car
I'll take it another step, I don't put any sticker that suggest I might have that idem on/in my car............ And no political statements..... anything that draws attention, other than a nice looking car of course........

put a cut off switch to ur remote wire dat turns ur amp on so dat way when ur around ur hood or work just turn the switch off and u can can blast ur factory radio dat way they see oh ok this guy is blastin his factory sounds no biggie lol
and ull have a better chance dats wat i use to do with the last car i had and i lived in the city at dat time which had to park in the street for over a year and no break ins untill i moved to the burbs then garage land lol ;)
ill probably do it again

if ur after market radio its the blue wire dats remote
theres usually (2) blue 1 solid blue and 1 blue with white strip
stripe blue is if u have an electric antenna which turns it on and off
solid blue is for the amp buy a round flush mount switch from radio shack which those look oem so it blends in with the car dont go with a flashy switch cause people make dat mistake all the time they see a flashy switch it makes people wonder wat dat flashy switch turns on brotha:shhhh:

and most deff wat the others said bro ........NO stickers advertising wat u have in the car:thumbsdown:

*PAAF?...PAAF Picture Addicts Anonymous Forum?

I thought I'd start a new anagram, an tangs lik dat........... PAAF = "Parking's an art form"..........

Well I'm hoping you have full coverage on it, so theft shouldn't be that big of a concern. However I would not recommend parking it on the street. In had too many cars get hit or egged or some stupid stuff cause I parked on the curb. Since you have valuables (subs) in the car, I would definatly not ride around close to home bumping that. Maybe buy a small security cam and set it up by your alley to watch/record your car while it's parked.

Just for statistics, most robberies are caused by someone with some inside knowledge. A friend of a friend, etc. don't let shady people know where you live or what you got. That's my code.
