2012 Civic SI Sportline

You have to put your jack under the lower control arm. Unbolt the inner bolt of the lower control arm and the lower bolt on the shock. Then you lower the jack and it will release the tension on the spring. Then unbolt the sway bar link for the lower control arm. You can then just push down on the hub where the wheel studs are and pull the spring out.

It is a little hard but as long as you dont forget to disconnect the sway bar it is not that hard. I read that same DIY and it does not say anything about the sway bar so I was battling it for a while. If I had not diconnected it I dont think I would have been able to do it. Once I learned how to do it the other side was easy.

I'm calling around to shops but about 100-150, plus another 50 for camber arms and 50 for an alignment, so hopefully closer to 200 than 300, but around there

50 bucks for camber arms is cheap. I think Ive seen them go for over 200 bucks on some web sites. I guess doing it myself saved me a pretty penny lol

No I meant to install them, I bought them for $224 lol

I actually do it myself but I dont want to get stuck in a situation where i dont know what to do.

Exactly, I wouldn't mind doing the work but if I get stuck at a certain point, then I'd have no car for a while.

i installed my springs in my shop with air tools and a spring press. i couldnt imagine the time consumed by using the drive way. drop looks great tho!!! i should have waited for two weeks and got the sportlines instead of H&R.......
