Does anyone have any information on the 2014 Si exhaust changes? Honda shows a 4hp increase. http://automobiles.honda.com/civic-si-coupe/specifications.aspx Their press release says it's due to a "retuned exhaust." http://automobiles.honda.com/news/press-releases-article.aspx?Category=General&Article=7641-en

Since aftermarket cat back exhausts gain around 5hp or so according to Vit, I was wondering if anyone knows where the gain came from? Is it in the downpipe, or the cat back section?

I checked online Honda parts websites and there is no 2014 Si information up yet so I could not compare part numbers. Anyone have any inside information?

Thanks for the update. When someone upgrades their 2014 Si exhaust I'd like to see the 2012-2013 compared side by side to the 2014 in order to check compatibility as well as differences.

It's something I'm going to look in to for sure. It just depends on how much more the parts will be for us Canadians.

I was able to find the parts list for the 2014 Si exhaust. I went down the list, compared the '13 and the '14 and from what I can tell, two parts have changed as College Hills Honda mentioned above.

18220-TR7-A02 Pipe B (Part 6 in the diagram)
18307-TR7-A21 Muffler (Part 12 in the diagram)

Who's going to be the first to change them? ;)

Those were the differences between the '13 and '14. I didn't compare with the'12 but I'm guessing it's the same as the '13.

I should have been more clear - I mean what actually changed in the parts themselves? Larger diameter? Smoother bends? Something else?
