Something about this picture is so weird. It looks like the car was pasted into the picture afterwards. Very cool affect.
Must be the focal point or something.
Congrats on the new ride @JTan24
I like the white. It's gotta be either Black or White for this car IMO. I like both the coupe and the sedan.

WHAT!?! Congrats man, that's awesome!! :woot:
Looks just like your old one, probably just twice as fun now! And yeah manual is ten times better!! hahaha
Got any plans for it? Like are you gonna keep the wheels on from your other one?

Haha yeah. Black or white looks great but I don't wanna deal with the swirl on black cars so I didn't even consider. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1402490360.429551.jpg

Red looks awesome too!! Definitely not the new orange tho haha

Haha unfortunately I didn't get to keep the wheels from my old car :( honestly tho, I like the new stock wheels! A lot of people are hating on them but I think it looks great in person.

Also, I find the the suspension on 2014 higher than the 2013 stock lol. No plans atm, too broke to even think about mods haha.

Agree with everything your saying @JTan24 but this car needs to be lowered. I'm waiting for Tein to release their coilovers.

Yeah, I could definitley understand that about the mods Lol! And do you have the red emblems on it from the old one? I couldn't tell in the picture
Seems like everybody is stepping up to an Si, Im jealous hahaha

Haha yeah I took the emblems, visors off from the old one. Haven't put them on my new one yet. You should step your game up :D

Congrats on the new ride. After seeing more and more pics of the 2014's, it really does seem like the wheel gap has become bigger on the 14's. Any chance you'd be willing to take a tape measure from the ground to the top of the fender arch? Then do another measurement from the ground to the top of the tire? I'd be interested to see what you come up with, and then someone else do it on a 2012/2013 that is stock.

That would only measure the ride height which just having 18s would increase. We would need someone to measure from the center of the wheel to the middle of the arch in your fenders to see if the wheel gap itself had gone up. It certainly looks like it has though.

Lol @JTan24! I want to step my game up!! Hmmmmm maybe one day... for now Im enjoying the few extra MPGs! Lol

I did a rough measurement with another fellow 13 Si. My car is half an inch higher. I'm sure they tweak the suspension a little bit due to bigger rims and tires.

yeah, the tire height would be different.

225/40/18 versus 215/45/17
Diameter (inches) 25.09" versus 24.62" on the 2013's....-0.47" difference in height there.

But it still looks like the gap between the tire and fender has grown.

Funny how Honda upgrades the suspension to make the car handle better but the whole car looks like its sitting up higher.
I'm patiently waiting for coilovers to be released.
