If I get coils for my 2012 si will I need both front and rear camber kits? Or just rear? Thank you!

The lower you go, the more negative camber you'll get naturally. Around 2" of drop and you'll be out of OEM spec. The only way to get the car back into oem spec alignment will be with camber arms/bolts. Some people want/need arms/bolts to run the wheel/tire setup they are trying to fit on their cars. Depends on how crazy your setup is & what you ultimately want.

I'm planning to go 3 inches. I just can't seem to find front camber kits.

If I understand correctly the front doesnt gain any camber from lowering. You only need bolts if you want to add camber to the front. The rear will gain negative camber as it lowers so you will need adjustable camber arms for the rear as our stock is a set length and not adjustable.
