after market exhaust

Since my car was the one at 5:11 I will say the car was a lot louder in person and I ended up changing everything with a custom 2 .25 inch cat back with that as the resonator and a SI muffler and it's quiet at idle but screams above 4.5K

the simple fact that you've done this with a civic lx leaves me feeling positive about my car. have u ever had it dyno'd???

It was about 140 at the wheels... Haven't done anything with the new exhaust. Thanks man, I did like it but because of how noisey it was and the fact the midpipe snapped in half recently I changed up

Another member has confirmed that if you take an axel back exhaust from the 8th generation civic Si sedan (2006+), it will bolt right up on a 2012+ LX Sedan. Exhaust hangers and everything line right up. The only issue is there isn't an exhaust cutout in the bumper like the SI. So, you'd have to cut an area for the SI exhaust tip...or take the exhaust tip off

note the difference...

I've not seen anyone test a coupe out yet.

is anyone else reluctant to cut into their rear bumper??? i really like the styling honda put into the new body, personally...

yea, I would imagine that once some exhaust options come out specifically for the 9th gen (non-si), it won't have such a large tip, or it'll hang differently. Exhaust makers aren't going to expect people to cut up their bumpers.

you could use the axel back now by just removing the chrome tip on the si exhaust

Here is some video of my current exhaust.... Body has 122k miles, motor has 72k miles and transmission has 80k miles on it
Idle to 5k shut the car off and then restarted it..... don't mind the rattle

Or be different and try K24Z7 + cat delete + 3" piping to J's Racing resonator + J's Racing C304 SUS (70RS) = One happy FB6 owner.
